As a former foreign correspondent, covering business, politics and social affairs in Australia and the UK, Julia May saw with painful clarity, close up, what was lacking in leadership at the highest levels.
This drove a passion for supporting a new breed of leader into visible leadership to drive the magnitude of change the world needs so urgently.
As a director of Visibility Co, Julia is a communicator, strategist, facilitator and coach who works with purposeful leaders navigating transformation to create better outcomes for themselves, their organisations and the wider world. Visibility Co has supported more than 3000 women leaders from 50+ countries including groundbreaking global leadership initiatives in Africa, Southeast Asia and Antarctica.
Visibility Co offers strategic advisory, social impact and communications strategy and consulting, and leadership programs for business, government and social movements.
Julia spent five years as a foreign correspondent for the Sydney Morning Herald and held senior roles at Reuters and The Times of London, and wrote social affairs features for The Age. A mother of two daughters and a passionate surfer, Julia’s top four values are justice, compassion, courage and making a difference.
