Janenne Willis (she/her) is an artist and curator living on Bunurong and Boon Wurrung Country.
She is a part of the Deep See Survey artist collective and has made many multidisciplinary shows and installations, including her acclaimed body of work Swell. A 2024 highlight was offering the final part in a three part series Sea State at the Bombay Beach Biennale in California. Sea State is an imagining of radical empathy between bodies of water. Another recent highlight was presenting O_C_E_A_N as a keynote project in the inaugural DRIFT Arts Festival on the Mornington Peninsula inviting audiences to feel the momentousness of the ocean through a large scale collection of progressive and contemporary art, story and spiritual practice.
