That’s a Wrap on 2025

As we close the curtain on the 26th National Sustainability Festival, we reflect on an extraordinary program that not only acknowledged the deep grief and anxiety so many feel in the face of the climate and biodiversity crisis but, more importantly, carved out pathways for action.

Under this year’s theme, “Live like the world depends on it,” the Festival was a rallying cry for change. Through workshops, exhibitions, and community-driven initiatives, we sparked critical conversations, challenged assumptions, and empowered thousands to take practical steps toward a more sustainable future.

Bringing this vision to life took immense dedication, and we extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who made it happen—our sponsors, donors, event partners, production crew, and an incredible team of volunteers. Your contributions ensured that the Festival remained not only a space for learning and inspiration but a source of strength and renewal for all who attended.

The climate crisis is no longer an abstract threat—it is a lived reality. Each year, we lose more of the natural world that sustains us. The urgency of this moment is undeniable. That’s why the Festival is more than an event; it is a place to reflect, to face the hard truths, and to find the resolve to act.

From grassroots community projects to cutting-edge innovations, this year’s Festival demonstrated the power of collective action. And while we take pride in what we’ve achieved together, we know the work is far from over. The insights gained here will propel us forward, shaping future efforts to meet the scale of the challenge.

We invite you to reflect on this year’s highlights, carry its momentum forward, and transform grief into determination, overwhelm into clarity, and resolve into action.

Because the lives depends on it.
