In what has been called a ‘transformational decade’ towards 2035 emissions reductions targets, this conversation will explore how settler and First Nations women can form new and innovative partnerships to work together to amplify First Nations’ and women’s voices to support self-determination and transform nation-building towards climate security and long-term human and planetary wellbeing.

In this event WCC Founder, Dr Janet Salisbury will be in conversation with Bec Blurton (Founder and Director of First Nations Affairs). Together they will explore the potential for women, working together in all our diversity, to bring new styles of leadership and policy priorities to leadership to secure the climate and promote long term human and planetary well being.

Featuring:

Robyn James, Global Director of Gender Equity, The Nature Conservancy

Bec Blurton, Director, First Nations Affairs and newly elected WCC Steering Circle Member
