This exhibition presents artists and designers who work with reclaimed and repurposed materials. It includes artworks and artisan homewares incorporating discarded or second-hand items, or objects found in nature. These items have been repurposed or upcycled into new forms with new uses – in effect, creating treasure, not trash. A range of artworks – including paintings, sculptures, assemblage and textile collage – are integrated with home decor, lampshades and furniture, all featuring salvaged materials.
