This two-hour workshop is designed to support people noticing and connecting with nature by combining creativity, science and mindfulness (in whatever combination you prefer). Sessions are relaxed, friendly and supportive. All levels of experience are welcome, and all supplies provided.
• We start with a guided nature-based mindfulness practice to awaken our senses
• Warm up with some different techniques and template options
• Hear about the theme-for-the-day, and even a challenge for those interested
• Come together to share thoughts and pages (share only if you wish)
At the end of this session, participants will have created at least two nature journal pages, learnt specific skills to connect with nature and to capture time in nature on the page in different ways. Participants take home the nature journal pages created, plus specific skills and ideas to continue connecting with nature at home.
This workshop is tailored to each participant, from beginners to experienced, and suitable for those who don’t consider themselves creative. Come along if you are interested in exploring creative ways to spend time in nature, wanting to be with other nature lovers or creatives, or wanting to be more mindful while keeping your hands busy.
