If you’re interested in developing practical knowledge and skills in ecological building techniques, or exploring alternatives for building an affordable home based on permaculture and biotecture (Earthship) design principles, then our two day Natural Building Workshop is for you.

At this practical hands-on workshop you will learn how to:

  • evaluate earth components
  • mix, stomp and fashion cob
  • mix and apply natural renders
  • construct and finish cob walls
  • prepare and lay an earth floor
  • add innovations and flourishes
  • work productively as a team with shared purpose

Join us for a weekend at Victoria’s first Earthship in beautiful Kinglake Victoria and experience the festival atmosphere of joyful, creative and collaborative home building.

Sleep in the solar passive ecologically designed fire-resilient Earthship, share delicious home-cooked meals and enjoy the warmth of good company around the fire-pit under the Milky Way.
