Maralinga Community Garden was established in 2022 in Chandler Reserve . We have both wicking beds and raised beds to hire for an annual membership fee where members grow their own crops sustainably .We have a water tank onsite and members can learn from one another about growing practices. Council has planted native plants around the perimeter of our fence line to encourage biodiversity.We have tried to pay homage to the history of the land both indigenous and farming in our cultivation practices.
