Kevin Heinze GROW Garden Tours

Come and visit Kevin Heinze GROW’s Doncaster site for an exclusive tour of our Therapeutic Gardens, established by Kevin Heinze in 1979 and used since then to achieve his vision of supporting access to the therapeutic benefits of gardening to everyone. The tour provide opportunities to learn about how our practice is delivered to ensure sustainable outcomes for people with disabilities in the short, medium and long term, and about how we continue to adapt and change in order to have a sustainable offering of accessible therapeutic horticulture experiences. Meanwhile, our approach to caring for and maintaining our garden includes focuses on promoting urban biodiversity, organic food growing, zero waste, effective composting and more. The tours will be led by our Therapeutic Horticulture Coordinator Patrick Wain.
