Join more than 28,000 households in Hume who are saving with rooftop solar.
To make it easier for Hume residents to install rooftop solar, Hume City Council has partnered with not-for-profit energy experts Yarra Energy Foundation (YEF) and accredited solar provider Green Home Green Planet to offer quality, affordable solar energy systems.
Now’s the time to take advantage of Victorian Government rebates of up to $1,400 and no-interest loans of up to $1,400 for eligible households. Savings on your electricity bills will usually more than cover loan repayments. Council offers an additional $700 rebate to concession card holders who install through the program. This can reduce the upfront costs of solar by $3,500.

• Product details including panel, inverter and workmanship warranties
• Current solar Feed-In Tariff and government rebates available
• Other considerations, such as flat roofs, shading and orientation
