This hands-on three-hour workshop includes:
- Harvesting seasonal produce from OzHarvest’s ‘Garden of Goodness’ (donated and installed by Andre and his team at the Sustainable Landscape Company). Learning gardening tips such as plant care, and soil health.
- Zero-Waste Cooking Class with harvested produce. From learning how to chop an onion properly, to cooking root to stem (and even preservation), be inspired by this hands-on cooking session full of practical tips and tricks for you to apply at home.
- Sitting down and enjoying the cooked meals. All surplus meals will be packed up, ready for OzHarvest to deliver to local charities.
