Bird Language

In this immersive workshop you will learn how listening to bird language awakens our ancient survival instincts and fosters a journey of lifelong naturalist inquiry. You will learn how all songbirds on Earth originally evolved from Australia and why, and also learn to identify songbird alarm calls for ground and aerial predators and understand how we can use these to track predators moving through the landscape.
The last part of the workshop will involve a group activity designed to decolonise our yearly calendar by creating nature-based seasonal descriptions.
